Earth to Witness "Black Moon" this year Twice

A rare lunar event called the 'Black Moon' will occur this year. The term refers to the occurrence of two 'new moons' in a single calendar month, an event that occurs once every 2-3 years. It will be 'witnessed' by the Western Hemisphere on September 30, and on October 31 by the Eastern Hemisphere.

Microsoft launches Forza Horizon 3 for Xbox &PC

             

                   Microsoft on Tuesday launched the 'Standard ' and Deluxe' editions of the racing video game 'Forza horizon 3' ,for Xbox one and PC platforms. Set in an open world environment in Australia , 'Forza Horizon 3' features 350 cars including the Lamborghini Centenario , besides four-player co-operative multiplayer campaigns. The game is available at the Xbox store starting at $59.99.

India rises in global competitive index

          As per the World Economic Forum's new report, India ranks 39th in the global competitiveness index for 2016-17. India moved 16 points up with improvement in several fronts like efficiency in goods market  , business sophistication, and innovation. Also, monetary and fiscal policies, and lower oil prices helped India's economic stability. Switzerland, Singapore and the US continue to top the list.

          Microsoft's 'virtual PC' tool makes Edge more secure

              Microsoft on Monday introduced the 'Windows Defender Application Guard' for it's Edge browser,an application that isolates the browser like a "virtual PC ", to make it harder to hack .It uses the recently introduced Virtualization Based Security and keeps Edge separates from processes including storage , apps and Windows 10 kernel.The system is currently available for Windows 10 Enterprise edition only.
